Crusher will activate her shields and raise morale again, since usually the other side has already used their purge skill by this point. Geordi will purge the enemy team if they have shields up otherwise he can usually take out a weak enemy at this point. Seven will fire at a shielded enemy, hoping to get a purge out of it. Worf will Counter (unless Riker is on the opposite team - he has an obnoxious Round 3 Skill Lock that makes Countering useless, so I'll just have Worf hit him instead). Crusher will either do a team heal, or scan a powerful enemy to weaken them. Round 2, Geordi will also shield everyone and raise morale. (Sometimes I'll wait to have her do this if the other side has Geordi or Data, since they can purge everyone's shields and I'll need to re-up them later on.) Past this point I usually don't have to worry about anyone other than Worf taking the brunt of the damage. Worf will taunt and usually lower enemy morale. Crusher will heal if a character is badly wounded, or else just take a shot (she's not as helpful in round 1 as she is later). Or if one of my guys got hit first, he'll shield them, so that another enemy like Riker or Scotty who can hit everyone at once doesn't kill them off in the first round. Round 1, if Geordi can take out an enemy in one shot, I'll usually do it. My go-to team is Geordi, Crusher, Worf, Seven of Nine, largely because I encountered those characters early on and they've become much more powerful over time than most of the other ones in my arsenal (each of them around 3000-3500, with the rest of my crew still in the 2000s). Really, it depends on which characters you have leveled up the most. I’ve lost to teams that should be a cakewalk, and breezed by ones that should be hard - all because of the random aspects. With PvP, the AI and RNG are a huge factor. This is a convoluted way of saying that there are some top characters, but maybe be not an absolute “best” team (although T’Pol, Garak, Toma and Scotty may be as close as you can get). Some still use the Kirk, Picard, Riker trio. My STL name is Tar Aldarion (#31 on the Leaderboard), currently in Omega 2 - and I’ll admit I’ve fought many of teams in the Omega Leagues. I’ve also seen some starting to run Q, and I’ve also seen some be successful with less common combinations - like Sela, Q, Spock and Tomalak. The barriers get stronger at higher levels, and facing players with with maxed legendary particles can mean that Kira has less of a chance to one shot. Some will sub Kira for T’Pol, but it also depends on which League you’re in. All Rights Reserved. The currently accepted top PvP is T’Pol and Garak behind cover with Tomalak and Scotty out front.
